Detailed description of the Caring for the Destination Initiative: 

Finca Lerida is a coffee estate farm, which produces coffee, and consciously preserves the environment and the surrounding forests. Cala Mia devotes 5% of their profits to fund social programs for the Ngobe indigenous people.

Finca Lerida also is part of several associations such as ADIB and is involved in a project that promotes all locally produced goods and services.
