Independance Day from Colombia and National Flag Day

We celebrate the separation of Panama from Colombia with a national holiday. It consists of many parades full of color, with private and public presentations in many places in the Republic, but mainly in Panama City.

For National Flag Day, the celebrations are very similar to the Independence Day from Colombia, but we specifically honor our national emblem. There will be many parades from different schools and other activities around the city.
