The Canal House

The Canal House is divided into three suites each of which is unique with its own character and Panamanian charm: the Miraflores, the Gatun, and the Pedro Miguel.

All suites are finely decorated and equipped with 600 thread count sheets, air-conditioning, ceiling fans, telephone, flat screens TVs with satellite and DVDs, free wireless Internet, and alarm clock/radio iPod stereos. Bathrooms are all distinct with a private shower and stocked with fine French toiletries from l'Occitane. All the suites are non-smoking.

 

Pedro Miguel, ideal for a couple or single guest, is the smallest of the three suites with a queen bed and a window facing the inner light well. The suite has a charming ambience perfect for a romantic getaway or an escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.

The Gatun two-room suite has one bedroom with a king bed and a separate living-working room with a sofa-daybed which can be configured to sleep up to two additional guests. The Gatun suite is ideal for friends traveling together or parents traveling with a child wanting greater privacy with each room separate and connected by a small foyer.

Also known as their master suite, this suite is ideal for business travelers who need a room to spread out, or honeymooners who want a little extra space. There is a king-size bed in the main room, a spacious walk-in closet, a table for private dining and private access to the wrap-around balcony overlooking Avenue A. On the mezzanine, a separate living-working loft with a desk and sofa-daybed that can be configured for two more guests.
