Panama City Accommodation Los Cuatro Tulipanes Sustainability

Keenan Lee and Matteo Landau

Having taken over from the original owners from Holland, Matteo and Keenan are eager young entrepreneurs aiming to establish Los Cuatro Tulipanes as the premier accommodation in Casco Viejo. Both originally from New Jersey, USA they met at the University of Richmond studying business and have been based in Panama for over 5 years.

They have focused on expanding into the best properties in the best locations throughout the old quarter, all the time balancing the colonial charm with modern amenities - and they have done wonderfully. They're both great resources of information on what to do, where to go and how to make your experience one that will keep you coming back for more.

They are always searching for new ways to improve their operations while contributing to the local economy and community.

Detailed description of the Caring for the Destination Initiative:

They are always searching for new ways to improve their operations while contributing to the local economy and community. Matteo and Keenan work with their employees to maximize energy savings in the apartments as well as emphasize that these practices should be taken home and passed along to their families. Los Cuatro Tulipanes is an AVACA member, a sort of local community organization that acts as a neighborhood watch helping to keep the community safe and clean. Additionally, Matteo gives back by coaching a local soccer team a couple of afternoons a week.
