The 8 carefully restored apartments range from 1 to 3 bedrooms in various layouts and can accommodate 1 to 7 guests. The apartments vary with street side or internal bedrooms, (internal ones being the quietest at night) and they have internal balconies/courtyards or street balconies/patios (catering to those wishing greater privacy or a street view).

Each is unique with its own individual character, though they are all fully furnished and, unless otherwise mentioned, include free wireless Internet, a satellite TV, a CD stereo, air-conditioning, a telephone, laundry facilities, fully-equipped kitchens and modern bathrooms. In addition to free Wi-Fi, they offer complimentary drinks, unlimited local calls, daily maid service and coffee and tea during the day.

Whether you're staying in Casa Monjas on the block, where the new Panama City was founded or in Casa Remon on the edge of Plaza Cathedral, they're all excellently located within walking distance to anything and everything in the Old Quarter.

Casa Palacio was one of the first buildings to be restored in Casco Antiguo in the 1970s and still shows slight overtones from that decade of décor. This non-traditional two level apartment has a loft bedroom with one king bed looking down onto a raised living space with a library just below. This apartment, like all the others, is unique and the Casa Palacio is certainly that. This is a great place to lounge around after exploring the narrow streets just steps away from the picturesque entrance of Paseo de las Bovedas.

Casa Mendez is a beautiful two-story building dating back to the 19th century. Upon entering through its doors you'll instantly admire the old Calicanto stonewall and intricate mosaïc tiled floor. On a block in use since 1673, shortly after the foundation of the new Panama City and having hosted many influential and prominent colonial families - this residence is rich in history and charm.

Mendez Apartment No.4 is a one-bedroom (internal, king), 1.5 bath apartment on the second floor. The three sets of high double doors cover the full width and height of the living room and when open, offer a cool and refreshing breeze. These glass doors and windows overlook the internal courtyard provide abundant natural light bestowing a special ambiance on the dining area, living room and master bedroom. Casa Remon, originally renovated at the turn of the century, sits right off of Plaza Catedral with one of the most beautiful wooden balconies in all of Casco Antiguo - guests of the two or three bedroom apartments will be enchanted as they lounge about the apartment with the balcony doors flung open soaking in Casco Viejo. Plaza Catedral is always vibrant and guests are sporadically graced with live jazz music - they can opt to join the festivities or enjoy the party from afar.

Casa Remon is comprised of three apartments: Remon 1, Remon 2 and Remon 3 with one, two and three internal bedrooms respectively, making them ideal for their location but still quiet for sleeping. As with all the other apartments, they have exposed Calicanto stonewalls, intricate mosaïc tiled floors and classic furnishings.

On the ground floor, Remon 1 is a one-bedroom (internal, queen), one-bath studio apartment set back from the street, in the middle of Casa Remon with a charming internal patio with a small fountain and a grand staircase leading up to the bedroom. Capable of accommodating up to three guests, it's the best if you're looking for a quieter, comfortable and cheaper option.

On the 2nd floor, Remon 2 is a two-bedroom (internal, 2 king), two-bath apartment accommodating up to six guests. Each bedroom has its own private internal balcony with the master bedroom's bathroom freshly redone having double washbasins and a bathtub. Casa de Las Monjas is one of Casco Antiguo's best examples of colonial restoration. With its lime green and light beige entryway and spectacular courtyard with century old Calicanto stonewalls, it is a great example of a restored colonial gem. The building's name "Las Monjas" (the Nuns) comes from the convent that once stood by the steps of the modern day National Theatre.

Casa Monjas has two 1-bedroom apartments both with king beds on the ground floor (Monjas 1B) and first floor (Monjas 2B) respectively. Monjas 1B has an internal ground floor patio while Monjas 2B has a split-level layout with several balconies and windows overlooking the internal patio providing ample natural light. They're both capable of accommodating up to three guests with internal bedrooms where guests can enjoy their unique character and beautiful Panamanian mosaic tiled floors.
