Los Cuatro Tulipanes
Los Cuatro Tulipanes is located in Casco Viejo, San Felipe, Panama City. The apartments are all ideally located in the best places throughout the old quarter so you can't go wrong. Most are near the Presidential Palace and the French Canal Monument, specific locations are as follows:
- Casa Palacio, one of the first buildings to be restored in Casco Viejo, is perfectly located on the corner of Avenida A and Calle Primero, just steps away from the picturesque entrance of Paseo de las Bovedas.
- Casa de Las Monjas is situated between Plaza de la Independencia and the beautifully restored Palacio National, housing the National Theatre and the Ministry of Government and Justice. Nearby is Casa Góngora, hosting live Jazz performances on Wednesday nights, and it's just one block from the seaside promenade with spectacular views of Panama City's skyline and ships waiting off-shore to enter the canal. It is an incredibly romantic spot to watch the sunset with your loved one.
- Casa Mendez is adjacent to, what will soon be, Hotel Central and Iglesia Felipe Neri, the oldest church in Casco Viejo. Across the street are Callejón del Chicheme and Casa Góngora not to mention Plaza Bolivar is less than a block away with its many trendy restaurants - the perfect place to enjoy coffee and a book or a glass of wine with friends.
- Art Deco is on Avenida A between Calle 4 and 5 near the seaside promenade with spectacular views of Panama City's skyline and ships waiting off-shore to enter the canal. It is an incredibly romantic spot to watch the sunset with your loved one.
- Casa Remon sits on the corner of Plaza Catedral. This Plaza is always alive with many points of interest such as Iglesia Catedral, the Canal Museum, the Emerald Museum, Rene Café and what will soon be, Hotel Central. From here, one can take a quick stroll to Super Gourmet for a sandwich or one of the other restaurants in the area. On Sundays a little market is set up in the plaza where you can enjoy gourmet food from the local restaurants or browse the artisan market to find the perfect souvenir.

The following directions are to the Los Cuatro Tulipanes office where you will check-in, receive your keys and pay any outstanding balance.
If you get lost once you've reached the city, the best thing to do is flag a police officer or taxi and ask them to escort you - pay them to take you to the address below. Taxi drivers will probably ask for $2-3 and a cop might help you out for free.
Getting there (local language)
- Take the "Corredor Sur" or the expressway/toll road from the International Airport, direction Panama Centro. You will stay on the "Corredor Sur" for about 20 minutes, go through 2 tolls and then follow the signs to Balboa Avenue.
- Once on Balboa Avenue, follow it for about a mile and eventually you will see an overpass and Shell Station.
- Make your first left just past the overpass and Shell Station, (there will be a Fish Market on your left, which might be hard to see if you are arriving at night).
- Upon making your first left, then make an immediate right.
- About 50 yards further there is a fork (you can either go hard left, center or right towards Chinatown). Take the Center Street for about 300 yards.
- Towards the end of this street, you will come to an open area on your left and you will see the entrance to Casco Viejo (which looks like an onramp / inclined road). Go up the hill and take a right at the fork.
- Go straight on this road (9th Street) until you reach Avenida A (3rd Stop Sign).
- Turn left onto Avenida A (you will see a big park, "Plaza Herrera", on your right).
- Head down Avenida A and then make a left on 3rd Street.
- Once on 3rd Street, the next intersection is with Avenida Central, please make a left and the office will be on your left.

- Saliendo del Aeropuerto Internacional de Tocumen tome el corredor Sur
- Continue por el corredir Sur hasta el final de la Avenida Balboa.
- Al finalizar la Avenida Balboa continue recto pasando la cinta costera, a su izquierda econtrara el mercado del Marsico.
- En el semáforo del mercado del Mariso girar a mano izquierda y luego primera calle a la derecha.
- Continue recto hasta La Calle A donde se encuentra la Plaza Herrera
- En la Plaza Herrera girar a la izquierda continuar recto hasta restaurante Mostaza.
- En restaurante mostaza girar izquieda en la 3a calle se encuentra Los 4 Tulipanes.
