The villas, originally built in the 1930's and 40's, are the former residences of U.S. Panama Canal administrators and their families worked on dredging the canal. They have been completely refurbished to capture the ambience of the original buildings while adding air-conditioning and other amenities to make your stay more comfortable.
The Gamboa Rainforest Resort facility consists of 167 luxury, air-conditioned riverfront rooms, each with private balconies and hammocks to admire the spectacular views of the Chagres River and the surrounding Soberania National Park.
In the Soberania National Park, you will discover a tropical rainforest where a vast diversity of flora, mammals, birds, insects and reptiles co-exist in one of the world's most complete ecosystems.
