With only 21 rooms and 10 suites, the Albrook Inn is more like a bed and breakfast or motel than the average hotel in downtown Panama City - perhaps the fact it isn't there explains why. Located in a peaceful residential neighborhood next to many transport hubs, this is a great place to stay if you have a late arrival or early morning flight, bus or are even taking the train to Colon.
With a shopping plaza within walking distance, this is perfect place for those wishing to be near the many attractions of Panama City such as Casco Viejo, Albrook Mall, Miraflores Locks on the Panama Canal, City of Knowledge in Clayton, and the Business and financial districts of downtown - but want something simple away from all the noise and bustle of the city.

Formally an old U.S. military guest house for single officers, the Albrook Inn has been recently remodeled to include a restaurant, small swimming pool and Jacuzzi, business center, free Wi-Fi internet, washing machines and is located close to the Albrook tennis courts where you can arrange tennis packages. The staff offers all the services such as daily housekeeping, room service, laundry service, and will happily arrange for airport transfers or call a taxi.
The restaurant "Gardens," where you'll take your complimentary breakfast, was named for its location in the back of the hotel surrounded by trees and is surprisingly good for such a low-key setting. The chef's specialty is the Corvina (a popular Panamanian fish) but also offers dishes such as spaghetti, sancocho (traditional Panamanian soup), seafood, Hawaiian pork and steak not to mention their delicious desserts like the maracuya pie and tres leches. The restaurant is open from 7 AM to 10 PM.

- For cancellations made more than 5 days in advance, there will be no penalty.
- Cancellations made within 5 days of arrival will be charged one night's stay.
